Day #3 – Back to School Healthy Snacks – Cucumber Sandwiches
Good morning and welcome to our healthy snack feature – Day #3. Today we are sampling cucumber sandwiches in our offices.
If you are in for an appointment or in the neighbourhood stop by and sample these delicious gluten free snacks. Perfect for your child’s lunch pail and you can even use the DIY cream cheese recipe that we featured yesterday.
Slice any type of cucumber to your desired thickness. Spread a layer of cream cheese (any flavour) onto one side of the cucumber. Then top it with another slice of cucumber. PRESTO!
Remember to get your cucumbers at local markets this time of year. Delicious and fresh from the farms. Here are some great places to get your veggies this summer:
